Street live in Georgia

RFSU works with three organisations in Georgia: Tanadgoma, Identoba and Hera XXI.

Centre for Counselling on Reproductive Health, Tanadgoma, works with various parameters and aspects of SRHR. These include working for sexuality education in schools, advocating for LGBT rights, supporting and advocating for people living with HIV (PLWHIV). Tanadgoma has offices in five major regions and is thereby covering almost all parts of the country.

Identoba is the largest and most comprehensive LGBT NGO in Georgia. It was established in 2010 under the previous name DRCAA and was a successor of Inclusive Foundation. During 2010-2013, Identoba increased their focus on organisational establishment and development; an initiative that was financially and technically supported by RFSU. Identoba’s vision and mission are based on promoting LGBT rights and creating a more inclusive society.

Hera XXI was strategically chosen as a new partner with the purpose of creating sustainable change in the field of SRHR in Georgia. Hera XXI is a member association of IPPF and RFSU:s sister organisation with values and a mission in line with RFSU. The project aims to advocate for women’s reproductive rights and access to safe abortion.
