RFSU promotes the prioritisation of SRHR issues in Swedish international development initiatives both when it comes to policy and to resource allocation. Sweden is the first country in the world to have a policy for international SRHR work that is intended to influence all international efforts. RFSU works in many different ways to ensure that this policy is implemented and that more foreign aid is allocated to SRHR initiatives.

RFSU’s goal is for Sweden to allocate at least ten percent of its total foreign aid toward SRHR issues.
