I fell shame after sex, is this common?

I’d like to know whether it’s common to feel a sense of shame after sex – a feeling that it’s dirty and wrong, even though you wanted to have sex and everything went okey?

It’s not uncommon to have these feelings. Sex is kept all very hush-hush and not talking about it can lead to feelings of shame and guilt. To be able to enjoy sex, you often need to just let go and allow yourself to be “smutty”, which can feel hard afterwards when you think about what you’ve done and what happened. But if it feels good when it’s happening and you’re sure that what you did were things you both wanted, then there is no reason to feel shame or guilt.
