Safeguarding rights in a rapidly changing global health landscape

The global health architecture (GHA) is in the midst of a period of major political and institutional change. Questions that were previously discussed separately – such as financing, country ownership, institutional reform, preparedness, localisation and multilateral coordination – are now being debated together within broader discussions on the transformation of the GHA.

The purpose of the study is to analyse a selection of ongoing reform processes and to suggest key entry points relevant to SRHR advocacy, financing, governance, and accountability. The report focuses on eight processes or initiatives that are particularly relevant to understanding the potential implications for SRHR, human rights, and civil society participation and provides recommendations on the way forward.
