Partner organisations

Our international work is built on long-term collaboration with local experts and civil society. These organisations are the driving force behind sustainable change and human rights in their own communities.

RFSU has been partnering with organisations in low- and middle-income countries since the 1980s to change norms and improve policy and legislation, thereby improving the conditions and access to sexual and reproductive health and rights. Today we support nearly 50 organisations working at the global, regional and country levels in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Driving change where it is needed most

RFSU's partners are a mix of more established organsiations, self-organised rights movements, and non-registered smaller organisations. The partners operate in areas where there is a significant lack of access to sexual and reproductive health and rights. They drive change in line with RFSU's priorities, such as providing sexuality education, increasing accessibility to contraceptives, and advocating for changes in discriminatory family laws, among others.
